Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Progress update from 3 weeks after double jaw surgery to 5 months

Before surgery, I was very stressed because of asymmetry, a protruding jaw, and a long jaw Even from the front, you could see that my jaw was slightly twisted to one side, and from the side my jaw looked both forward-projecting and long, so every time I took a photo it bothered me a lot. In particular, I did not like how the lower third of my face looked long and heavy overall, and that is what led me to decide on double jaw surgery! At 3 weeks, I could still feel that the swelling had not gone down enough, so my face felt a little puffy Even so, compared with the beginning, it had become so much more comfortable, and being able to eat to some extent freely made me incredibly happy on its own! My mouth could still only open enough for about 1 to 2 fingers, but I kept practicing opening it a little at a time. And now it has already been 5 months, and I am doing well in daily life with almost no discomfort😊 A lot of the swelling has gone down, and it is clear that the asymmetry and the jaw that had been projecting forward have been corrected, so my face shape seems much more natural too. There is still the occasional slight discomfort or pain if I accidentally touch the surgical area while brushing my teeth, but other than that I am getting through the days without anything that bothers me much!
