For orthodontic treatment, if possible, go somewhere where the head orthodontist personally handles it.. I had malocclusion severe enough that orthognathic surgery was even recommended, so I was introduced to a dental clinic through a doctor acquaintance and started treatment, but the doctor changed twice midway, and they changed the treatment plan however they wanted, so the result was.. It ended with my bite not fitting well, and in the end I’m paying again for orthodontic retreatment at another dental clinicㅠㅠ Distance matters too, but definitely go somewhere where the head doctor is kind and explains things well.. ㅠㅠ
