When I went for a consultation, a staff member looked at me while opening a booklet, and I wondered what this was. Back then, I felt burdened by the idea of deciding on surgery without a consultation with the director. (Honestly, I still do.) But now, after already having surgery and even revision surgery at another hospital and after a long time has passed, I wonder what meaning that even had. Once I went into the operating room anyway, they did not even remember what they had said before. If I could go back, I think I would just have it done by a director with many years of experience.
