Hello!
It has been about a month and a half since my contouring surgery!
After deciding on contouring, I joined a cosmetic surgery cafe and kept browsing around online, then while searching facial contouring on Naver I happened to come across the blog posts of the surgeon at a Gangnam clinic
As I read the posts, I thought, "Ah, this is really professional. This is a hospital that thinks about the patient!" (I also liked that natural facial lines were what I was aiming for; I didn’t want a place that only insists on making everything smaller, because recommendations should vary depending on each person's face, ㅠ)
I read almost every post on the blog in detail
For the posts I liked, I think I reread them again and again, more than ten times
After seeing that blog, I looked up other plastic surgery clinics in cosmetic surgery communities too, and you know that feeling? Like, "Ah, this is it"?
No other clinic caught my eye anymore.. Contouring is such an important surgery, I was planning to visit three or four places, but somehow my 마음 kept going back to that clinic, lol
So I thought, let me get a consultation first, and if it’s not right, I’ll go back to looking online and visiting more places.
I booked a consultation and waited ㅠㅠ
Then during the consultation, unlike the other plastic surgery clinics I had been to, The coordinator only asked exactly what was needed (there was not even 1 bit of sales talk, and they only asked what I was curious about and what I needed) and said the surgeon would come soon after the consultation, so I waited!
I had a consultation with the surgeon (I think it lasted about an hour)
I asked everything I was curious about, talked about which areas of my face needed treatment, and the surgeon looked at things in terms of proportions rather than just making things smaller. And they only talked about what was really necessary. I was recommended only advancement/lengthening of the chin
Since I said I also wanted to do my cheekbones and nose, I got consultation on those parts too
After the consultation, I felt good about it and decided, "I’ll do it here," and became certain
I think I trusted the surgeon! So after visiting just one place, I immediately reserved a date
I had also written down a list of questions about contouring surgery in my notes app,
but the coordinator explained every item on my list before I even asked about them? (That made me trust them even more..)
They explained everything on their own, like CCTV and hospitalization, aftercare, and so on
So I didn’t really have anything else to ask, and I think I only checked the surgeon’s career history and that was it..
(What I felt during the consultation was that it wasn’t salesy at all, which I liked!)
Then I had the pre-op tests, got an injection to dissolve my chin filler, and waited!
On the day of surgery, I was insanely nervous before the operation
I changed clothes, had a consultation with the doctor, and then had the surgery
I was scared, so I kept thinking, "I hope I can just close my eyes and open them and it’ll be over already"
Oh, and I went with my older sister
Since SureS allows you to view the CCTV, I asked my sister, and she watched the CCTV for me~!
(This part also made it feel very reliable? Trust went way up)
And then the surgery was over
After I woke up from the anesthesia, I was still dazed and struggling, but I asked my sister to take a photo lol. I must have been out of my mind
And after the surgery, the doctor came in and said the operation went well, which made me feel relieved and happy!
On the way home, I was too tired, so I took a taxi
-On the day of surgery, I didn’t seem as swollen as I expected
I looked kind of puffy, which was funny and made me look like a cartoon character
- Days 1 to 3 or 4? I swelled up like crazy
I really understood what people mean when they say your face feels like it’s going to burst
Everything swelled so much that I wondered if this was really okay, and it hurt because it felt so tight and like it might explode
Also, because I had my nose done too, it was even harder
Only after day 3 or 4 did the swelling stop, and after the tape came off, I felt like the swelling finally started going down!
The first week was really, really hard for me. Time felt like it wasn’t moving at all
It hurt so much ㅠ Because I also had my nose done, it was definitely even harder
I kept wishing time would pass quickly... Now time just goes whoosh
On day 3, after the tape came off, and when a week had passed, I had the stitches removed near the cheekbone? I think?
After that, I felt like I could finally live
From then on, I just waited for the swelling to go down quickly, ate soft tofu, looked up review posts every day, took photos, and did that kind of thing
Once two weeks had passed and all the stitches inside my mouth were removed, I honestly felt so refreshed
And around two weeks later, it felt like the major swelling had all gone down
I thought I could go out and walk around
Every time I went to the hospital, whenever I had more questions after the surgery, the surgeon explained things with a lot of enthusiasm? I liked that
If I had more questions, I would consult with the coordinator through the hospital chat!!

It’s been about a month and two weeks?
I’ll post a separate review later just for my nose
The major swelling really seems to have gone by one month, and only residual swelling feels left?
I can eat everything now too. I seem to be able to eat everything surprisingly quickly
I eat wraps and meat too... lol
I think my sensation came back fairly quickly too
My lower lip had sensation? Right now, only the left side of my upper lip still feels a bit numb! That anesthesia-like feeling? But once you go past a month, I can feel the sensation gradually returning... maybe I’m a good healer at this point..

I’m completely satisfied with my face now, and I’m waiting for all the swelling to go down so the skin can also shrink
It’s been a month and a half now, and except for my family, everyone around me has no idea I had surgery. But when they saw me after a while, they said I must have lost a lot of weight, my nose (they recognized my nose, so I told them), my face shape looks smaller, and my chin looks more refined, so I told my friends I had an InMode treatment... It definitely seems like my face looks smaller, even to other people! I’m satisfied. Since it’s only been about a month and a half, I’m sure I’ll look even prettier over the next year ^^ I’m looking forward to it!

My original face shape wasn’t a harsh one! It was the kind of face that made people say, "Do you really need contouring?" when I mentioned it!
But when I took photos, I was seriously so frustrated because I never photographed well....
Even when I used apps, I always had to Photoshop the cheekbones and adjust the entire face shape
It looked broad and flat, and the side view felt weird
Personally, the side cheekbones were especially stressful too
Now my facial proportions are balanced, and the proportions? lines? that the doctor emphasized When I look in the mirror, my face really does look much smaller, so I keep feeling satisfied with it
I lengthened the chin, but my face looks even smaller, which is amazing... It somehow feels like it became naturally pretty, like a celebrity face! Anyway, that’s the end of my review lol

Everyone, please research contouring carefully before getting it! As expected, cosmetic surgery is about self-satisfaction!
