Before <before surgery> After <after surgery> My original nose was low and a pressed-looking bulbous nose, so I had a complex about it and used to get fillers regularly. Thanks to the filler, it did get a little higher, but the blunt, bulbous look did not improve. As I kept getting fillers, the nasal bridge became uneven and seemed to spread more and more, so in the end I decided to dissolve it and have surgery.
While correcting the bulbous nose, I also had osteotomy, and because my nose looked long and droopy from the side, I also had long-nose correction. Originally, I wanted to have nostril reduction at the same time too, but the director said that if the nose is raised to a certain degree, it would naturally look narrower, and that if I still wanted nostril reduction after surgery, I could do it then, so he did not recommend it.
On the day of surgery, I woke up and the surgery was already over. In the recovery room, while waking up from anesthesia, I received something like an IV drip and then went home. After the anesthesia fully wore off, it did hurt a bit, but after taking Tylenol it was tolerable. The next day I went to the clinic for antibiotics and disinfection, and the day after that I went again for disinfection and to have the cotton removed. Once the cotton was removed, breathing definitely became easier, but maybe because of the swelling, my nose got blocked again. Other than having trouble breathing and not being able to wash, I do not think anything was that hard. Every time I went to the clinic, I got swelling laser treatment, drank pumpkin juice, and went on a lot of walks, so the swelling moved down toward my jaw and went down a lot. When the splint was removed in week 1, the line was different from when I got filler, which was fascinating, and since I had osteotomy too, my nose became slimmer overall, so it feels more feminine.
Now it is week 3, so there is no major discomfort. It is still hard to open my mouth wide, and it feels a bit strange when I touch it, but there is no problem with daily life, and I go out wearing simple makeup, at least on my skin. I will need to wait a bit more for the swelling and recovery, but I am very satisfied with the shape.
