I had surgery because I had a lot of concerns about my bulbous nose. Using ear cartilage, they only lifted the columella, and I also had alar reduction. Back then, a slightly straight-but-curved line was in style, and they did it beautifully following that line. During the healing process, a suture stuck out inside my nose and I panicked, but I was too lazy to go to the hospital, so I just pushed the suture back into my nose and left it alone, and it healed well. I had it done about 6 years ago?? and there is no contracture, and the line is still maintained as it was.
