Hello, I’m an ordinary office worker who turned 31 this year. I was always busy earning money and making a living, so I didn’t have time to meet people, and with one excuse or another, I lived without paying attention to taking care of myself. So my hair was always dry and frizzy like this, my skin wasn’t good, and I lived with an unattractive face. But after I passed thirty and all my friends got married, I looked in the mirror and felt like I looked so unattractive ㅠㅠ lol. So actually, I had been thinking for a while that I wanted rhinoplasty, and after listening to what the doctor said, I ended up getting surgery on my eyes and nose.
Up to the third photo, this is what I originally looked like. My nose was really low and had an unattractive shape. My eyes were uneven with no double eyelids.. lol. Even my skin was bad… I’m over thirty, but I still get acne… it drives me crazy lol. Anyway, I thought my nose was the biggest problem, so I went around here and there getting rhinoplasty quotes. Then I decided to do it at a place with a director who had been doing nose surgery for a very long time. Really! I was only going to do my nose, but when they held up my eyelids for me.. wow, depending on whether I had double eyelids or not, I went back and forth between looking unattractive and at least average-looking; lol. I wanted to at least become average-looking lol. For my nose, I had 4 mm silicone inserted, and for my eyes, I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery with medial epicanthoplasty. When I was lying on the operating table, I thought, what kind of wealth and glory am I trying to enjoy by doing this… I had every kind of reality-check moment and thought I should have just lived as an unattractive person.. I’m scared.. lol. At first they trimmed my nose hairs… and when they sprayed disinfectant all over my nose, it stung so badly that from that moment I wanted to run away.. lol. I’m a huge scaredy-cat.. lol. But I was already lying down! The nurses were moving quickly and efficiently, getting everything ready! They looked very professional, so I thought, well, it’s not like I’m going to die! lol, and I went under general anesthesia… I think I fell asleep without realizing it, woke up, opened and closed my eyes repeatedly, then slept again. Anyway, when I fully woke up, 3 hours had passed, so I was surprised.. I feel like I had a very pleasant dream for a moment.. lol. So with the splint on, my face became this swollen, puffy face like Tungtung-i.. lol. Doesn’t it look like, is this even a person?! lol The 4th and 5th photos are right after surgery ㅠ Warning, it looks awful.. lol. They put a lot of cotton inside my nose, so for the first two days I struggled a bit with eating and sleeping, but other than that, it really didn’t hurt, so it was more like just waiting for the swelling to go down??? Anyway, my eyes, nose, cheeks, just my whole face was swollen, and I thought I looked like hardtack puffed up in water… lol. After surgery, I went three more times on day 2, day 5, and day 7 for disinfection and to remove the splint… The kind staff every time I went were nice… But because there were so many people, even with an appointment there was quite a bit of waiting time. The 6th photo is the one I took right after the splint was first removed!! At the hospital… I was lying down, with my eyes all swollen and bruised dark blue, my lip cracked, and stitch marks on my nose, but I could see that my nose was standing up so clearly!! lol, so I was happy… even in that condition lol. It also felt real… Wow, I really had plastic surgery.. and after passing thirty too.. lol. I thought, if the swelling goes down, will I really become pretty, even if just to an average-looking level? Since I was young, I was always teased about my appearance.. You know how there are always those male seniors in college?? The ones who tease you saying, “You have a face that really needs to study hard”.. lol. Because of people like that, the wounds in my heart never really healed… With this surgery, I wanted to hear someone say I was pretty at least once somewhere. The 7th and 8th photos were taken around 2 weeks after. Can you see the bridge of my nose… really.. there was still swelling left, but even so, after taking these photos, tears welled up.. lololol. My.. my nose became a sharp nose that looks like it could cut through anything!!! lol. First of all, I’m extremely satisfied with both my eyes and nose. At first my nose looked a little upturned? so I wondered, hmm.. is this okay? But the doctor said the nose would gradually come down, so I trusted those words and waited. And then it really did come down..
The last two photos are from around 3 weeks to 1 month after. My nose has come down a lot and the swelling in my eyes has gone down a lot too~ Honestly, I’m really… extremely satisfied… lol. I just keep thinking I should have done it sooner.. lol. I don’t regret it at all, and thinking that I invested money and time into becoming prettier made me feel proud too. And I touched up my roots lol!! Having black roots showing all the time is funny, right? Anyway, while I was getting my roots touched up, the staff member said, “You’re pretty, so I’ll give you this,” and gave me a treatment sample, and seriously…. I was so touched then… It was my first time hearing a stranger call me pretty.. Of course, they probably just said it without much meaning. Anyway, after touching up my roots too, don’t I look a bit younger now, rather than like an auntie hit directly by the age of thirty? Hahahahat lol. The swelling still hasn’t completely gone down. My eyes are slightly firm and puffy. I heard that after plastic surgery, the eyes can take up to 6 months, so I guess I just need to wait a bit longer. There’s no inconvenience at all in daily life, and I apply scar-removal cream under my eyes and nose every morning and evening. The scars on my eyes have almost disappeared, but the scar on my nose is still very faintly there.
Anyway, I’m gathering my courage and posting this. It’s a turning point in my life, and I also wanted to hear that I became prettier. Haha. Anyway, thank you for reading.!!
