Day of surgery: There wasn’t as much swelling on the day as I expected, and I had heard that if ear cartilage is used, the area where the cartilage was removed hurts, but fortunately they didn’t use ear cartilage, so I had almost no pain!
Day 2 to 1 week: They said it’s better to sleep sitting up, so I slept in a massage chair at night, but my nose was blocked, so it was hard because I kept waking up unconsciously while sleeping, but surprisingly, I ate well.. hahahaha I think the swelling was the worst on days 2-4 compared with the day of surgery. My nose felt tight, so I couldn’t make facial expressions or laugh, but after about a week, I could laugh and my expressions became much more natural!
Day 10: After removing all the stitches and the splint, my nasal bridge was higher, so putting on makeup felt fun, but maybe because I hadn’t been able to wash my face properly for a long time, my makeup kept looking flaky because of dead skin next to my nose, so I worked hard on exfoliatingㅠㅠ
1 month: A lot of the swelling went down, so the alar area also became slimmer, and I don’t feel any foreign-body sensation inside my nose at all, so there is zero discomfort in daily life^_^ My nose shape is pretty, so applying highlighter on the nasal dorsum feels fun, and looking in the mirror feels fun too. Seriously~ these days I’m so happy because of my nose~ hahaha
