My long chin had always stressed me out, so after thinking about it for years, I had facial contouring surgery. I had chin tip surgery and square jaw surgery, and I’m now one month post-op. I had consultations at several places, but as soon as I had my first consultation at Saegim, I felt certain that if I were going to get contouring surgery, I should do it there. The doctor immediately understood my complex and was confident he could make it look pretty, and he just felt so experienced that I trusted him right away. The consultation manager was also very kind, and I had been extremely worried about the surgery, but thanks to her I felt reassured about the safety aspect. First of all, the image I wanted was absolutely natural!! The doctor said he could shave down the chin tip much more, but I asked him to shave only a little. I like having an angle below the ears, so I asked him to reduce only the length and leave the angle. I also didn’t want the chin tip to be too slim or pointy, and I feel like he really listened to that too! After surgery, the director came into the recovery room and said he really wanted to shave more but held back lol. That made me feel like he valued my needs more than the general standard of beauty! The nurses were also really kind throughout the night and took good care of me, so even though it was very hard, I think I got through it well. Even after discharge, when I visit for post-op progress checks, the doctor who provides the care is really, really kind too!! One of the things that impressed me at Saegim was that all the staff were so kind. So even though it was a major surgery, I think I felt much more at ease. I also felt reassured after the surgery! When I was looking for a hospital, the most important thing after safety was how close the doctor’s aesthetic standards were to mine, and I’m so, so satisfied because he realized the exact feeling I wanted 100%. I’m still only one month post-op, so the swelling around the square jaw area is still noticeably there, but I’m really looking forward to how it will look once it goes down!
