Current eye condition: the crease is high for a man. The left ptosis correction is insufficient. I got a consultation to correct this. Since I consulted not long after having incisional surgery, the director told me not to have surgery because the crease would lower if I waited. They said that if I wanted to match the symmetry on both sides, since the crease on my right eye is currently less visible, they would instead raise that side, and later when the crease comes down, both sides would match. But I already think the crease is high right now, so I was a bit taken aback that they wanted to make it even higher. They showed other patients' photos and consulted very passionately, but it was not a solution that fit my situation, so I passed.
