My current eye condition has a high line for a man. The left eye correction was not fully done. I got a consultation to fix that. Because I had the consultation not long after an incision surgery, the doctor said the line would get lower if I waited and told me not to have surgery. If I wanted to match the symmetry of both sides, the right eye currently had less visible line, so they said I should actually raise that side so that when the line goes down later, both sides would match. But I already thought the line was too high right now, so suggesting making it even higher was a bit surprising. They gave an enthusiastic consultation while showing photos of other patients, but it was not a solution suited to my situation, so I passed.
