I had surgery on May 10. I didn’t want a crowded, large hospital ㅜ I wanted a quiet and comfortable atmosphere + a natural-looking shape (I absolutely hate the Avatar/Pinocchio look), so I didn’t even go to other hospitals. I had a consultation here and booked the surgery right away. When the director speaks, he doesn’t rush, and he explains honestly and clearly how things will turn out. He also always explains the possible side effects. The shortcomings of my nose and the surgical method he described were exactly the same as what I had already understood about my nose and the procedures I had been considering (small nose + slightly upturned nasal tip + blunt nasal tip + slightly protruding mouth). I wanted the nasal tip lowered (length extension) + the nasal bridge raised. The surgical method was 3 mm for the nasal bridge + septal cartilage for the nasal tip. The surgical method I had in mind and the postoperative nose shape matched the director’s style well, so I booked it right away.
On the day of surgery, the sedation anesthesia was very brief, and when I woke up, they were doing the surgery. 1.5 hours? 2 hours? Anyway, I was lying there for a very long time, but there was no pain at all. I just got bored lying there listening to music throughout the surgery, and since the sedation was light, as soon as I went to the recovery room, I just did a bit of cold compressing and went home totally fine. For reference, I didn’t have nasal packing or a splint lol
After surgery, I had zero pain. It just felt a little stiff, and honestly, I think double eyelid surgery hurt 4 times more. I remember going home with my eyes all swollen and tears streaming down lol. I didn’t really have swelling, and I didn’t even notice the yellow bruising near the nasal bridge tape... The entire recovery period was so comfortable. If I’d known it wouldn’t hurt this much, I should’ve done it earlier instead of being scared..
Disinfection on day 3, disinfection on day 5, outer stitches removed at week 1, inner stitches at week 2. Every time I went in for disinfection, the director always checked everything carefully. The consultant here is also very calm and soft-spoken, so I had the surgery and aftercare in such a comfortable atmosphere haha. The lobby isn’t crowded either, and everything is always prepared efficiently and smoothly. Honestly, when you go to a big hospital with several doctors, patients are waiting around, and people waiting sit on folding chairs for one or two hours.. The assigned consultants keep changing, they forget things halfway through, get confused, everything is hectic, and the doctors look rushed, you know? (I’m someone who regretted the hospital where I got double eyelid surgery because it was chaotic + like a marketplace..) Anyway, the doctor and consultant are meticulous and calm, and I’m really glad I chose this clinic lol
