Before-before-after-after-after-after-after I really didn’t like my face shape at all, I guess you could say the lines looked rough... My cheekbones were especially my biggest concern. I wanted a slimmer face shape, but I felt like the only answer would be shaving down the bone, so I went for consultations for three facial contouring procedures. I thought a lot about whether or not to get facial liposuction too, but I decided to do only facial contouring, and during the consultation, I told the director I wanted a slim face shape with as little angle below the ears as possible, and asked him to reduce it as much as safely possible within my limits.
Maybe because I’m already the type to swell easily, after the surgery I swelled a lot, like seriously beyond just puffy... In the beginning, even my double eyelids disappeared for a bit, but as the swelling went down, around week 2 my double eyelids came back. Because of the swelling, my face looked round, but when I wore the facial compression band, I could definitely see that it had become slimmer, so I was looking forward to how it would look once the swelling went down.
After about a month, I was able to use a straw. I could eat if I chewed slowly, so I ate meat in very small amounts too. It felt like my jawbone and cheekbones had settled well, so I felt relieved.
Now it’s been about 3 months, and it’s much more comfortable than before. I can feel that almost all of my sensation has come back, and a lot of the minor swelling has gone down too, so I can see my face shape getting prettier little by little. I only had facial contouring done, but my friends say my eyes look bigger too. I wanted my face to become even smaller and slimmer, but since I heard that both I and the director had reduced it to the safe limit, I’m satisfied, and these days I’m focusing on losing weight haha
