Before removal, I used to come in and out of this community too, but after removal I forgot about it and lived my life. Then I suddenly thought of it and came back in case it might help. I had the removal done at the hospital where I had the surgery, and they removed all of the 4 mm silicone + ear cartilage at the nasal tip. (But with the nasal tip, it does kind of feel like something was left behind, though I don't know. I can do a pig nose and everything, but I also feel some unexplained foreign-body sensation.) There was a lot of talk about collapse and things like that, so I worried a lot before removal, but I am living well without any particular problems. The shape feels like a mix between my pre-surgery nose shape and my post-surgery nose shape. I am writing this because some people may be curious about an older review.
