Hello. I had rhinoplasty without any implant, and my nose was originally droopy, but the doctor turned it into a pig nose, so I had the septal support strut and the grafted-on part removed 6 months ago.
My current shape is somewhere between my natural nose and my surgically altered nose. The look where the nasal tip had been pulled far forward has gone back in. But the part that was lifted upward (like when making a pig nose) seems to have only come down about halfway. My nose shape was not originally like this. It would have to come down a lot more to be my original nose...
Even though it has been 6 months, it is still like this, so I’m suspicious that maybe they left the support strut in and tied it. Even when I smile, the nasal tip does not come down.
Will it get better after 1 year.... I don’t even want to go back to the hospital. They always treated me like I was overly sensitive lol
From the 4-month mark, I went through a contraction period where my nose became seriously smaller, so I went to the hospital, and they said my original nose was also small lol Seriously, I had never once been told my nose was small. They said there is no such thing as a contraction period and told me not to believe people on the internet too much. I don’t understand why that stupid woman works as a consultant haha
Now I feel like the frequency of the contraction has decreased a little. Overall, well, it is not a pig-like nose, it is not covered all over in scar tissue, and it has not drooped drastically. It was not a total disaster. But I don’t like it because it has not returned to my natural nose. I hope it gets better as more time passes. Sigh.. I’m glad I had the removal done. The surgically altered nose was really strange, so ask me if you have any questions.
