I'm leaving a review of my first hooked nose surgery (no osteotomy, nasal tip lift) I posted day 0 early this morning, so I'm posting days 1-3
<Day 1, Saturday> The swelling is seriously no joke ㅠ My eyes were pushed toward the glabella area and I could only open them halfway.. Still, there was no pain
I went to get the cotton removed, and someone said it feels like your brain is being pulled out, so I was shaking But it was just tolerable Like getting a COVID test in 0.5 seconds??
But I had a blood collection in my ear, so the director personally drained the pooled blood and said to come back on Monday to check it and also do a swelling laser treatment When they drained the pooled blood, I almost cried ㅠㅠ It felt like my ear was being burned So as soon as I came out of the treatment room, I took Tylenol
<Day 2>
My face was still super swollen, and the splint looked bumpy, so I was really worried ㅠㅠ There was no pain anymore, and the nasal congestion was still there
<Day 3>
The facial swelling moved down toward my cheeks, and I went to the clinic because of the blood collection The director looked at my ear directly and said it seemed like it would be okay They asked if I had pain, so I said it didn't hurt, then I looked at the post-op photos again and felt reassured about the line I think I asked about five hundred more questions before leaving Today I feel like I can move around a bit
