I had arm liposuction a year ago. Maybe it was because they removed a large amount when I was already really, really overweight, but even though I think I worked really hard on aftercare, when I see the skin stretched out and sagging... (Well, even an inflated balloon gets wrinkly if you let all the air out at once..) I think this is a surgery you need when you're only moderately chubby... That way, if you just manage it well, I think it can turn out pretty. Wow, I'm jealous haha. I even wanted to do my sturdy thighs at the time too, but the doctor said, "I'm confident about the arms, but for the legs, lose a bit more weight and come back for another consultation".. Even though it hurt like crazy, I kept stretching consistently, started strength training after 3 months, got regular radiofrequency care in between, wore compression garments for the full 3 months even though I was dying from the heat, and massaged at home with a roller and foam roller, etc.... It's sad, but for people with severe obesity like me, since there will be extra costs anyway, I'd like to recommend losing a little weight first before considering liposuction.. Even if you look up reviews or apps, most of the reviews, to my eyes, are from people who are moderately plump?? or slim, and for people who are really!!! extremely overweight (severely obese..), extra fees get added so it can actually be very expensive... and it's hard to find cases.. At the hospital where I actually had liposuction, there were far, far, far more people with skinny-fat body types, people who looked moderate to my eyes and made me think, "I wish I were even at that level" (well, that's their own personal satisfaction, so that's probably why they come, right?), and really slim people. (To my eyes, they all looked pretty haha)
So what I'm trying to say is, for those with severe obesity who are looking into liposuction, I'm rambling and posting my opinion in case this helps even just a tiny, tiny, tiny bit as a reference.. When I was looking for hospitals, I wished there had been opinions or reviews like this too.. ㅠ
+ In case anyone misunderstands _ I'm not saying this out of malice toward people who get liposuction even though they're slim. From my position, I'm just purely jealous.. And I posted this only as a reference for the overweight group, so please just read it without misunderstanding ~*
