My nose has a slight hump and a drooping tip, so I wanted to raise the bridge and correct the hump. I went on a weekend morning, but perhaps because the hospital is large, there was almost no waiting. I think I had a CT scan and went into the consultation almost immediately after arriving.
First I consulted with the coordinator, who asked what materials I wanted and did not want. The coordinator consultation was very short, and I immediately met the director, [Doctor A]. I showed the kind of nose I wanted and had the consultation. Since my bridge is already fairly high, the doctor suggested not raising it much, but correcting the hump, nasolabial angle, and bulbous nose. They said it could be done without an implant, using only ear cartilage and septal cartilage.
The consultation was a little short—the CT and consultation together seemed to take about 30 minutes—but it was reasonably good, and the cost was lower than I expected. Anyway, safety is my top priority, and anesthesia scares me most because I have never had it. I am only visiting clinics with an anesthesiologist on site. They said there are nine anesthesiologists here, so that part seemed reassuring. It was lower on my list of clinics, but aside from the short consultation, it was not bad.
