Protruding mouth + the front teeth were a complete mess, and overall my lower jaw was small too, so the lower teeth were also oddly aligned. I had two premolars extracted from the upper and lower teeth each, and the total period was 2 and a half years. It was so hard for 2 and a half years, but the good thing was that I lost weight because I couldn’t eat well... But as soon as the orthodontic treatment ended, I steadily gained it back...ㅜ Orthodontic treatment is definitely good aesthetically, but something you really need to think about is that my gums were originally strong, but during orthodontic treatment, more of my gums became visible and they got weaker ㅠ If your gums are already weak, think even more carefully before starting. Extraction orthodontics even more so!!!!! My original mouth line was actually quite pretty, but after finishing orthodontics, it disappeared.. Still, when I hadn’t done orthodontics, my teeth looked so unattractive that whenever I smiled or talked, I always covered my mouth with my hand, and I didn’t smile in photos either, but now I smile broadly pretty well.. There are pros and cons, but for now I’m very satisfied appearance-wise. I did it at Dandaeogeori.. As far as I know, that dental clinic has closed now and another dental clinic has moved in.. Anyway, think a lot before doing extraction orthodontics!!!!!!!
