When I was young, I went to a neighborhood dental clinic, and the doctor called my parents over and told them to take me to a university hospital lol. So we went to a university hospital, and they said malocclusion had started and that I needed orthodontic treatment quicklyㅠㅠ They said if I didn’t do it, I’d need double-jaw surgery when I grew up, so I got braces. Back then, I was young, so I just found the braces annoying and wanted it to be over quickly, but now that I’m an adult ㅠㅠ there are things I regret. My bite was corrected, but I still have a slight underbite feeling ㅠㅠ I thought about getting double-jaw surgery too, but it felt ambiguous to do double-jaw surgery and disappointing not to, and while time passed, now lololol I’m just living with it because of my age.
For those getting orthodontic treatment, even if it’s hard, I think it’s best to do it properly at that time ㅠ Since I did it in childhood, I even secretly took my braces off and stuff lol, and I really regret a lot of those momentsㅠㅠㅠ
