The consultation is definitely with the consultant. It seems consultation with the director is not possible. The consultant marked my eye line and then said my eyes would need fat grafting, and that this hospital does not do fat grafting, so surgery was not possible. I had heard that this hospital refuses eyes that seem likely to fail or not turn out well, and it was true. I also think the reason they do not do fat grafting may be because there are risks, so they simply do not do it at all.
