I was prepared going into the surgery, but honestly, I remember that first week being really hard every single day... It was a time when I really realized again that you don’t just become prettier for free...
Anyway, during that period, I cried every day and was so depressed that I swelled up twice as much, and I kept looking in the mirror every single day thinking, did I do this for nothing? I got stuck in a loop of useless worries + self-loathing + suspecting side effects... Until about 3 weeks, I could barely go outside except when going to the clinic, and I felt like people were staring at me, so I couldn’t even properly make eye contact with people
The funny thing is, my friends actually said that for this level, the swelling was fine and really not severe at all, but I was the only one making a huge fuss... Facial contouring is definitely a surgery you need to do with a firm grip on your mental state, and I hope everyone knows that in the beginning, you 100% go through a mental crash...!
Anyway, after going through that depressing period for a bit, once I saw the director and started receiving the clinic’s aftercare treatments one by one, at some point I could see it getting better.. Especially in the first month, all the treatments the clinic provided were good.. After that, the swelling went down noticeably, but I don’t know if it went down because of those treatments or because it was time for it to go down lol Now, no matter how I part my hair, there are no uneven contours in my face shape, so everything just suits me, and I’m really super satisfied with that I had the 3 types plus cortical bone shaving, but the director said there was no need to cut out bone, and that slightly reducing only the volume at the angle of the square jaw would be enough, so they only shaved the thick areas!!
I had the surgery after looking at places that are good at doll-like lines, and they definitely set the direction well without overdoing it, so I think it came out exactly with the feeling I wanted hehe Since facial contouring surgery costs what it costs, my bank account did end up empty lol But if I went back to before getting it, I’d naturally think I should get it again, so I have no regrets...!
For everyone looking into facial contouring, rather than the cost, I hope you focus most on the surgical direction (my jaw was severe, so I checked the front-view effect a lot) + aftercare, those two things, and I hope everyone has surgery safely, smoothly, and beautifully~~~!
