Before<Surgery before><Day 1 side view>This is day 1 after nose surgery!
My surgery was the first slot at 9:30, so I went to the hospital early in the morning, listened to the explanation, had a consultation with the director, and I think I went into the operating room around 10:00-10:30.
I had nasal tip surgery (septal cartilage + ear cartilage), columella lowering, hump nose correction, and functional surgery (deviated nasal septum)!
The consultant kindly explained everything until the very end, so I wasn’t nervous at all before surgery :) (Oh, I had surgery 5 days after my second Pfizer vaccine dose, and there were no problems at all.)
After entering the operating room, they put in an IV, disinfected me, and after the director did the design, the last thing I remember was being told to sleep comfortably... lol
When I woke up, the surgery was already finished and I was in the recovery room. There was no pain at all, just a slight stuffy feeling in my nose!
Right after surgery, my throat was very dry, so I drank water that the nurse poured for me, and my guardian prepared bottled water and a straw and kept moistening my mouth. (Definitely bring bottled water and a straw on the day of surgery!!!)
When I got home that day, I wasn’t as swollen as I expected, and since I originally have chronic rhinitis and my nose is always blocked, it wasn’t very uncomfortable for me.... haha So from the first day, I ate pork belly cut into small pieces..
Sleeping was uncomfortable, but I slept leaning on a recliner, and ☆☆a humidifier is essential☆☆.
On day 1 after surgery, I went back to the hospital and had swelling laser treatment, an antibiotic injection, and disinfection!!
As the swelling is coming down, my upper lip is also swelling (I also got bruising inside my mouth), so I’m drinking pumpkin juice and pumpkin tea, doing cold compresses, and walking whenever I can to try to reduce the swelling quickly.
My nose is still wrapped up tightly so I can’t see it wellㅠㅠ but from the side it seems much more defined, so I’m looking forward to it!! I’ll be back with another review :)
