In January 2019, I went to Yejin, Koshop, and Brown for consultations. I did not like the simulation nose at Yejin. Brown was chaos with Chinese everywhere, and they recommended donated rib cartilage, so I gave up on it. I liked the simulation at Koshop. It was a revision surgery, and my nose was really an easy case, so at first they just made it higher, and back then the doctor... about 10 years ago. They said natural was best and did not raise my bridge very much. So right after the surgery, when I met my friends a week later, nobody recognized me..;;;;; Anyway, back then my nose was fine, but people around me always said if I had done it there, there would at least be some visible change.. why did I do it, and my parents also said it did not look like I had done anything because the starting point of the bridge was too low. I kept hearing things like that several times and then it just became my nose. Then, with a sudden change of heart, I rushed into surgery like roasting beans in a flash. I just consulted and liked the simulation, so I made a reservation. I asked them to make it a bit like Yuri Sung's nose.. because my midface is long. I wanted it to look a bit shorter, but I did not want my nostrils to show from the front. If it is too high, you can see the nostrils from the front...
Right after surgery, it did not seem much higher... but once the bandages came off, the lower nose had become a giant nose. I endured for about a month? 3 months? Then I went to the doctor and said, "If this nose is the finished result, I want to die," and they gave me a shot to reduce swelling. The moment I got it, it became sleek right away, compared with before... I guess I am the type who heals well.;; I had autologous costal cartilage, and even now I still have the scar from the autologous rib cartilage. I do not mind it.. It is still red. People who hate scars should go to a clinic specializing in scars. Take care of it.
Anyway... but it did not really seem to get prettier, and with time passing, it is already the 2-year mark. It really does take 2 years for even the minor swelling to go down. My first nose surgery was like that too. In the second photo, the left side is me and the right side is another person. I was thinking about getting a third surgery again, but the other person's nose... looked so beautifully done that I compared it with mine side by side. It was similar. If I raise the tip any higher like that, the nostrils would probably show even more from the front..
Right now I am satisfied with everything and it is very pretty, but one thing I regret is that they lowered the columella so much that without that part it would be a completely short nose... If they had not lowered the columella, would I not have been able to lift it this much? I even thought that.. Anyway, I am satisfied with everything except the columella now.. and the nose is a little .. crooked. But if I adjust it by hand, it just goes back. It is not the tip.. but the crookedness feels more natural, so I do not really have any complaints.
