AfterAfterAfterBeforeBeforeMy first goal was revision rhinoplasty!! I really wanted to shape it beautifully with autologous costal cartilage, so I looked for hospitals very, very hard!! I decided after recommendations from people around me, in-person consultations, and online research!!
I honestly had some concerns about the material, and when thinking about cost, it would be donated rib cartilage.. but when thinking about shape and stability, it was autologous costal cartilage again.. I really thought a lot in that gap, but since it wasn’t my first surgery and was a revision, I judged that it was right to care about both the shape and stability, so I decided on autologous costal cartilage!! The pain wasn’t as bad as I expected, and I think the shape came out better than I wanted!! The area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested was cleaner than I expected too, so if I take good care of it, I think it’ll just become neat! As expected.. I think I chose well and got it done well!
Facial contouring was a surgery I originally thought I might get later~ but the hospital I chose had directors by department, and I thought, since I’m already doing it, maybe it’s right to do it together? So I made a big decision, and as expected, I really keep thinking it was a good decision to do them together
It’s true that the first week was a bit hard, but once I got to week 2, the discomfort is disappearing to a really surprising degree…
They said I’m on the less-swollen side and that it’s going down really fast, so I think I’m recovering quickly too, and probably after about 3 months, the nose will settle beautifully and the facial contouring will be completely settled too??? That’s what I think!!
