Before before before <Before surgery> after after after after <After surgery> I had a hump, a slightly crooked nose, and my nostrils looked wide from the side lol. My mouth looked protruded too; I also had rhinitis, so I looked into hospitals thinking I’d get functional rhinoplasty and cosmetic rhinoplasty together.. In the end? I’m very satisfied, yep. It makes me wonder why I only got it now... As you can tell from the photos, I’m a man and I’m on the bigger-built side, so when my face is expressionless, people tend to find me a bit intimidating.. It had actually stressed me out quite a lot; Since it wasn’t just something I felt once or twice, I talked about my concern while drinking with friends, and they carefully suggested that maybe I could try rhinoplasty, so I went for it. They’re friends who are really interested in beauty, and they said that if just my nose turned out well, my overall impression would probably really change, you know?
I mainly looked for places with lots of male reviews and places where the before-and-after difference was clearly visible. After visiting the two hospitals I liked most, I had the surgery at the one where I felt the consultation, hospital system, and aftercare suited me better..
I fixed my deviated septum and inferior turbinates > functional For the nasal tip surgery, they used septal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, yep.
For the functional nose part, I got the reimbursement without any issue, and the refund came in around a month before or after the surgery? Something like that. It’s only been about two months since surgery, so they said I should expect the swelling to go down more from here, yep. Up to about 6 months? The surgical area didn’t hurt, and although it was a bit uncomfortable while the cotton packing was in, if you think of it as part of the process toward looking better, it was nothing.... Hanging a lot of towels at home helps, yep. And even when it was hot, I made sure to go out for walks... to reduce swelling.. At first, because of the swelling, there will probably be a super stressful phase where you can’t get used to how you look, yep. Still, even then, don’t just stay home worrying. I recommend definitely going outside and getting some air... For me, the swelling changed between morning and evening..? Picking my nose is comfortable now, but I think I was careful until about a month and a half.. I also started wearing glasses or sunglasses after a month.. I’m still only lightly exercising. Once I pass the 3-month mark, I’m thinking of slowly starting weights lol. I’m someone who can’t give up exercise.
And I’m really grateful to my friends, yep. Because they encouraged me to try rhinoplasty, I think that’s what made me consider getting it, yep. Maybe because the surgery was successful, I feel thankful about that part, yep. There was a time when I felt resistant to plastic surgery itself, but for people whose concerns are as big as mine, I think it may be worth carefully thinking it over again and again, finding the right hospital, and trying it once.. yep. Of course, this post is not blindly recommending plastic surgery.
I originally like recording things like this, so I tried writing this post. If you have any questions, it’s okay to ask.
