They say a man's nose is everything, and I was dissatisfied with these points, so I got rhinoplasty. Even when sleeping or lying down, my nose would get blocked, so it was frustrating;;; I was diagnosed with a deviated septum and rhinitis, so I had surgery for those together.
I had the surgery with Director Lee Sung-hoon at GNG, who did my consultation. He is good at male rhinoplasty and also really understands what kind of line suits the face well. Rather than making it excessive, he emphasized masculinity well, and he immediately understood the feel I wanted, so I think that's how I got this result. I am 100% satisfied lol I thought the swelling would last a long time because I had osteotomy too, but surprisingly? I didn't swell that much. The symmetry was matched well, and for the nasal bridge, a custom implant was used, so I feel like I got a nasal bridge suited to my nasal structure. I also had functional nose surgery, so the inside of my nose is completely comfortable. The inside of my nose used to get raw from blowing it all the time, but this winter it probably won't be like that.
I was always not confident about my side profile, but after nose surgery, I keep taking photos from side-profile angles for no reason and look at my silhouette reflected in shadows.
I heard that at general plastic surgery clinics, even if you have functional nose surgery, the indemnity insurance reimbursement rate isn't that high, but GNG has scale and several directors who are ENT specialists, so the reimbursement rate itself was high. They guided me well through the indemnity insurance processing too, so I applied without difficulty.
Even the process of going for follow-ups after surgery left me with only good memories. Maybe it's because the hospital took a lot of care of me.
