I emphasized so much that I wanted it done naturally, so there wasn’t a big difference before and after surgery. For the portfolio, it seemed like they put me under anesthesia, did local anesthesia around the eyes, and woke me right up. It was a surgical method where substitute surgery wouldn’t be possible. While operating, the director told me several times to get up and look. My eyes were swollen and painful, so I could barely open them properly, but being told to open my eyes wide and look was hard. After surgery, the epicanthoplasty scar faded a little, but maybe because my skin is thick, the incisional scar is still white and clearly visible even after 1 year and 7 months. When I said the scar bothered me, they said I would need surgery again. I said I wouldn’t do it because it hurt and left.
