Before <preoperative eyes; I had to raise my eyebrows to open my eyes><1 week after surgery><3 weeks after surgery><revision surgery on one eye only><2 years later, still swollen and asymmetrical><4 years later, still slightly swollen and asymmetrical> I had ptosis correction, eye-shape correction, and double-eyelid surgery done like this. My eyes themselves weren’t on the small side, so I didn’t do anything else. I went to consultations at two places, consulted with the doctor, trusted them, and had the surgery. After about 5 months, one eye’s fold came undone, so I had revision surgery right away, and maybe because they sutured it really tightly during the revision (?) the swelling basically lasted forever. I’ve been living with asymmetrical eyes until now, and I keep thinking it will go down someday. It has gone down quite a lot now, though! I feel like the side that didn’t have revision surgery may also come undone later and I’ll have surgery again, but overall I’m satisfied with the surgery.
