<Original nose><Surgical nose><Removal nose>I had surgery using alar reduction, silicone, ear cartilage, and septal cartilage. In order, they are original nose / surgical nose / removal nose.
The biggest reason I decided on removal was the shape of my nostrils, so I’m fine with my nasal bridge getting lower and all that now. As you can see in the photos, one side had become pinched and vertically shaped, but after removal the nostril shape came out round, so I’m satisfied.
Today I had the splint removed and the stitches taken out. The director came in, asked if I had a good Chuseok, looked at my nose, and reassured me that the surgery went very well as I wanted and that I didn’t need to worry, then left. Thanks to the director, who is chic but warm, and the staff, who are always kind, I felt reassured again : ) There’s still a lot of swelling on the nasal bridge, but if I keep doing warm compresses and walking diligently, it’ll get better, right? When does the contraction phase usually come? Can scar tissue form inside the nose during the contraction phase? I’m a little scared of the contraction phaseㅠㅠ
My original nose was very slightly upturned, so just in case, I got Monterra Tab prescribed as a preventive measure. Is anyone taking Monterra Tab? In this community, I’ve only seen posts about Rizaben. If anyone is taking it, are there differences or side effects?
