I have appointments booked at several places, and these are my consultation reviews for ㄷㅇㅇ and ㄹㅂㄹㅇ, the two I visited first.
At ㄷㅇㅇ, I had a consultation with Director ㄱ. There was quite a bit of waiting. They seemed to have many surgeries and looked busy. But they took photos, measured everything accurately in 3D, and showed me in 3D how it would look virtually. They measured carefully, felt my tissue quality, and clearly told me what was not possible. I liked that they recommended a natural size. Since it is a large hospital, the aftercare seemed systematic too. They said it would be difficult to send the CCTV separately, but it would be possible to check it. What bothered me a bit was that for the transaxillary approach, they said I would have to wear a corrective bra for 3 months, so I did wonder if they were not very confident with transaxillary surgery. Also, the consultant pressured me hard to pay a deposit.. Still, Director ㄱ caught the issues really well, so I am considering surgery here too.
At ㄹㅂㄹㅇ, the director is really full of pride. They speak very directly, and when something cannot be done, they say firmly that it cannot be done. Since I am unmarried, they strongly recommended the transaxillary approach. It really felt like even things other hospitals said were possible, they clearly told me would not work if done that way, so I could think about the worst-case scenario in advance. That was good, but from a patient's perspective, because they said even things other hospitals said were possible were impossible, I felt some resistance. During the consultation, they seemed too conscious of other hospitals, so I passed. But the consultant was very kind, and there was almost no pressure to pay a reservation deposit. Overall, I was satisfied with the service.
I will get more consultations from the rest of my list, gather them, and leave another post!
