Hello, this was my first time having cheekbone surgery, so I’m leaving a review.
I’m sorry that I couldn’t include photos for reference.
Before I talk about it, I want to say that I hope you think a lot before getting facial contouring surgery.
Honestly, I think many people do it hoping for a dramatic change, but it’s not as dramatic as you might think, unless your case is really severe like on Let Me In.
For people like that, of course the effects will show very clearly, but if you’re not like that, you won’t see such a big difference. Even now, 1 year later, it feels like there is still some residual swelling. It seems like only after 1 to 2 years does it gradually start to show a little.
1. Difficult parts
After surgery, it was so hard. Really, every time I looked in the mirror, I wanted to die. I couldn’t even eat what I wanted. It hurt terribly, so I did take painkillers. The nose or eyes recover quickly, but cheekbones were not like that. It was so hard, and you should expect to suffer for a month or two. I was so extremely swollen that, as I said again, every time I saw my face I wanted to die.. I kept thinking, what if the swelling doesn’t go down?
2. Good points
Now that time has passed, I’m glad because it does seem to have had at least a little effect. But if I were told to do it again, I wouldn’t.
