Since I was young, having a large face was a complex for me. I was especially bothered by my blunt square jaw and prominent, very protruding cheekbones. It may not show in photos, but acquaintances who saw me from the side also often told me that it seemed like I only needed to do my cheekbones and jaw, so I was really stressed and looked into facial contouring surgery. I had surgery at a hospital I found out about through an acquaintance's recommendation.
I had 3 procedures: square jaw, cheekbones, and chin tip, and I'm now in week 2. My face is still very swollen, and the yellow bruising still has a long way to go before it fades. After removing the intraoral stitches, it feels like it's going down a little faster, but every day when I wake up and look in the mirror, it feels like it's not going down well, or maybe it is, and I keep going back and forth.
I was really nervous when getting the stitches removed because everyone said it hurts, but I was grateful that the nurse removed them without making it hurt. Anyway, now that I've taken off the compression band and bandage, the stuffiness is gone, but gargling and disinfecting inside my mouth is really inconvenientㅠㅠ I hope the day comes soon when I can comfortably eat what I want........ There are so many things I don't know, so if you have any useful tips, please let me know!!
