It has been 3 years and 1 month. My malocclusion was so severe that when I went to hospitals, they all told me to get double-jaw surgery. Then I found a hospital that said they could align my teeth and correct my occlusion without double-jaw surgery, so I decided on it. The upper braces are ceramic and the lower ones are metal? Even though the price was on the expensive side, I really didn’t want double-jaw surgery, so I started orthodontic treatment. Now my occlusion is normal, and I’m just aligning the dental midline. Of course, because the lengths of my temporomandibular joints are different, it does look crooked if you look closely. I’m just so moved that my bite fits now.
