I’m writing this because there seem to be many people who are stressed because of revision surgery like me, and many people who are worried about recovery after surgery!!
My first surgery was also done with the natural adhesion method, but even before it loosened, my lines were uneven ㅠㅠ As time passed, one side completely loosened and I had an extra crease, and the other side was half-loosened too... My eyelids drooped a lot, so my double eyelids got thinner, and I was honestly so annoyed because of my eyes that I know I shouldn’t have, but I went around wearing double-eyelid tape ㅠㅠ
This time, I also had my revision surgery done with natural adhesion, but after the revision, wow, I was so swollen... it was hard to open my eyes The swelling was the worst on day 3, so I took photos then, and it was really swollen, right... I went on walks and did warm/cold compresses like crazy ㅠㅠ Since I only had natural adhesion, there were no stitches, but I washed my face starting on day 5!!! The clinic told me to do that haha By week 1, the swelling had gone down quite a bit, but from then until week 2, there wasn’t much change again, so I was worried... especially the puffiness at the inner corners of my eyes, like sausages, bothered me so much ㅠㅠ Still, I tried to look in the mirror as little as possible, and instead of staying stuck at home, I deliberately went outside more and met friends and stuff. Moving around also helps the swelling go down...! Once I passed week 3, the sausage-like feeling definitely disappeared!! Since a lot of the swelling went down, my pupils were much more visible, and opening my eyes felt more comfortable too Maybe because it was natural adhesion, it looks natural, and the line that appears when I close my eyes has faded a lot too!
It’s only been 4 weeks, so there’s still a long way to go for all the swelling to go down and for everything to settle haha I’ll write another review later once the swelling goes down. Until then, I just hope the uneven swelling at the inner corners of my eyes evens out a bit... The lines came out well, right?!
