I had full removal of straight silicone + ear cartilage from over 10 years ago through a closed approach. I did it at one of the three major clinics, but it’s only day 2, so I’m not sure yet whether it went well. One thing that bothers me is that during the consultation, they said that if the ear cartilage inside my nose wasn’t enough, they would harvest new ear cartilage and place it where the silicone was removed to raise the height, so I paid a high cost comparable to revision surgery. But when I woke up after surgery, they hadn’t harvested any new cartilage. On top of that, they said the amount of ear cartilage inside my nose was on the smaller side.. I’ll have to wait and see whether it improves compared with my original nose and whether the effect is worth the cost as much as revision surgery. I’ll post another review after the splint is removed!
