I had orthodontic treatment at a dental clinic that an acquaintance of my dad goes to. Since I had to go even when I was in high school, I wanted somewhere close by, but I ended up going somewhere that took over 40 minutes just by subway,, My dad’s acquaintance said they were a regular there and that they would give me a discount, but compared with friends around me who were getting braces, it wasn’t a cheap price, and their cavity management wasn’t very good either. Even though I brushed really diligently, I ended up getting 3 cavities.. I had never had a single cavity before orthodontic treatment, seriously,, They said each tooth with a cavity would need a gold crown for 900,000 won, and that all 3 needed it, so I went to the dental clinic I used to go to when I was younger. There, they said only 1 needed a gold crown and the rest could just be treated, and the price was much cheaper too. I wrote the surgery cost as 4 million won, but I don’t remember clearly whether it was 5 million, so I put 4 million. It ended pretty quickly because it took almost exactly 1 year, but when I look at friends who usually get braces, they attach something like a wire? on the inside of both the upper and lower teeth to maintain them. But for me, they only attached it to the bottom and didn’t do the top, so when I asked, they said they normally don’t do it. I’m just holding on with a retainer now. The biggest downside is that my jaw got biggerㅜㅜ. My jaw was originally the kind that my friends and family would say was really a complete V-line and pretty. They said they would do orthodontic treatment without extractions, so I asked whether my jaw wouldn’t get bigger, and the director said it absolutely wouldn’t, so I felt reassured and went ahead with it,, But my jaw really did grow, and now it’s become a jaw I don’t likeㅜㅜ At this point, I already did it, so what can I do?
