I was able to go straight into the director’s consultation and meet the director first, which was good. They displayed my nasal CT scan on the monitor and also examined my nose by touching it directly.
They gave me plenty of consultation time and explained which areas would need to be improved to get closer to the nose shape or line I wanted. They also told me which materials would suit my nose. It wasn’t just “you must use this material”; they also checked the amount of septal cartilage and assessed whether using septal cartilage would actually be feasible.
They would use septal cartilage and ear cartilage together, and silicone for the nasal bridge. Since I have rhinitis, nasal valve surgery would be done together as well, and they said reimbursement may be possible depending on the indemnity insurance plan.
