<At the time of surgery with silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage, I had such a hard time because of the foreign-body sensation and discomfort at the nasal tip>After<After removal surgery>After<After removal surgery>After<After removal surgery>After<After removal surgery><My natural nose><My natural nose>The thing I regret most in my life is getting nose surgery The best thing I did was removal surgery
The surgery I got to become prettier.. ended up bringing me wasted time, financial loss, and psychological distress
I wrote this in my previous review too, but I had the entire septal cartilage removed, the silicone removed, and the nasal tip cartilage removed I didn’t leave anything in. Such a relief!
The first surgery was 10 years ago: silicone + ear cartilage, closed approach The second surgery was in April last year: silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage, closed approach The removal surgery was in early September this year: full removal, closed approach, no capsule removal. There was a depression after removing the silicone, and after surgery I heard directly from the doctor while looking at photos that they filled it with something like autologous tissue and capsule. (They also showed me all the photos before and after silicone removal)
Before surgery, I had a lot of worries. I was scared of side effects and scared of the contracture period tooㅠㅠ I really went around to so many clinics for consultations I avoided clinics that gave me absolute certainty. (Like saying I would 100% go back to my natural nose, etc.) Because every surgery has side effects I focused on clinics where the doctor personally consults with you from start to finish (the consultant only discusses the cost), doctors who answer sincerely during consultation, clinics where you can meet the doctor after surgery (after my second surgery, I couldn’t even meet the doctor), and whether a closed approach was possible I also focused on clinics that explained possible dissatisfaction with the shape after removal or problems that could occur. Ah, clinics that didn’t put cotton in the nose were also a priority. In the end, I think I made a good choice After surgery, I didn’t even have a splint, and I could return to daily life right away I did get some bruising, but thanks to the mask, I got by comfortably So far, I think it’s still higher than my natural nose. They said the swelling would go down gradually. I hope everyone chooses a clinic well And I hope you get good results
Before surgery, I searched and searched a lot in this community about side effects that can occur after removal surgery. So I got scared and was debating whether to get the removal surgery itself. I think most people probably feel similar to how I did before surgery.. Don’t worry too excessively, and if you find a clinic that suits you, trusting them and leaving it to them with peace of mind may be better for your mental health too (I’m one person who was still debating until the morning of surgery…)
