Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Review of short-nose surgery from 2 years ago

My short nose (upturned nose) was quite severe, so I had my first surgery at ㄱㄹㅂ 2 years ago. At the time, they lowered the tip of the columella as much as possible using ear cartilage, placed 3.5 mm silicone on the nasal bridge, and then performed osteotomy, but my nostrils still show a lot, so I’m looking into revision surgery. I didn’t have side effects like inflammation, but I wasn’t as satisfied with the shape of my nose as I had hoped, so I was looking into revision surgery. As I went around for consultations, I was told that for short noses like mine, when silicone is placed on the nasal bridge, the silicone can form a membrane inside the nose and pull the tissue near the nostrils, so in many cases the nostrils become more visible than right after surgery. I hope this is helpful. Also, for people with severe upturned noses, lowering the columella at the nasal tip is important, but they say the columella also needs to come down together with the nostrils for the issue to be corrected as much as possible, so I think you should look into it carefully and go for consultations.
