Since it was my first nose surgery, I went in thinking lightly of no implant and just septal cartilage or ear cartilage, but they recommended silicone + donated costal cartilage. The director seemed to have a very specific shape they wanted. But that seemed to match what I was going for, so I proceeded. I don’t recommend it for people who want to keep their first surgery light.
