I live out of town, so I quickly went around to two places for consultations. For reference, I’m in my early 30s / have relatively low skin elasticity / have a short chin / have cheek fat, but it sags, so it gives a slight impression like I’m holding candy in my mouth.
1. Director J at D T J R B
I went straight into the consultation without waiting, and the consultant was kind. After taking photos, they said I didn’t have that much of a double chin. But when I consulted with the director, he grabbed my chin fat and said I had quite a lot of subcutaneous fat.. haha He said I also had a little deep cheek fat and some slight sagging in the cheeks, and recommended double chin + front cheeks + side cheeks + 3 Mint threads on each side, for a total of 6 threads.
I didn’t really want threads if possible, but because my cheek fat has some sagging, he recommended that after liposuction it would be better to tighten it so it adheres well. Maybe because this place specializes in threads,,ㅠ Anyway, aftercare costs are separate here. It included scar-tissue injections and 2 sessions of radiofrequency! And because they don’t make incisions, there are no stitches, so they said I wouldn’t need a separate revisit (this was the best part). I was told the surgical areas would be under both ears along the jaw (side cheeks), the cheeks beside the corners of the mouth (front cheeks), and the area under the chin (double chin) like that~
They said that if I cancel, the deposit is converted into store credit that can be used for other procedures at the clinic, but refund is X.
2. Director H at B T R I
I originally went for a designated consultation with Director O, but recent reviews had a lot about Director H, so I changed the consultation on the same day. Even though I went at the changed consultation time, I waited 1 hour (they said a surgery had been delayed a bit). While waiting, they didn’t take photos or anything separately. Here, the event prices are set by area, so the director only recommended cheeks + double chin. He said the double chin would definitely show an effect, but for the cheeks, he said he’d only know once the surgery started.. They said aftercare would be just 1 radiofrequency session. It was included in the surgery cost. And I had to come back 5 days later to have the stitches removed. They said there would be two incision sites under the chin.
For the deposit, they said if you don’t set a date, it can be refunded, but if you set the surgery date, it can’t be refunded. And I think they said that if you don’t book after the same-day consultation and later decide to have surgery, the event price won’t apply~
Anyway, I finished my consultations, and since I live outside Seoul, between the two places I’m leaning strongly toward one side..
