I recently went for a facial contouring consultation with Dr. Lee Dong-chan at DA. Honestly, I was more drawn to private clinics, so I went to DA with a light mindset, just to get my face condition diagnosed, but it was much better than I expected.. lol Maybe because it’s a big clinic after all.
Anyway, there were really a lot of people, so it took about two hours total. The CT scan was quick, but the waiting time was too long..ㅜ
The doctor was straightforward and seemed very confident, so I did feel trust in him. The consultant who did the consultation with me also had a similar style to the doctor. Should I say they had a similar vibe?? She was really friendly, so it felt like getting a consultation from a close older sister.
The doctor’s consultation was only about 20 minutes, but he pointed things out clearly on his own and explained them, and I liked that there was no extra upselling. But maybe because it was the weekend and he was busy, it did feel like he wrapped things up quickly and wanted to leave fast lol If you don’t ask more questions, he seems ready to dash out right away, so I recommend thinking through your question list well before going.
Also, it seems the price changes if you don’t confirm within a month. For the deposit, other places usually take 10%, but here you only have to pay 100,000 won, and I liked that if you cancel before getting the internal medicine exam, they refund the full amount. If you cancel after the internal medicine exam, they said they refund it after deducting the examination fee.
The first start was pretty good, so I’m looking forward to seeing what the other hospitals are like.
