Facial Surgery Reviews

I ended up getting a facelift too. One month post-op!

Before<This is the front view before surgery~ Looking at it like this, it doesn’t look that severe, does it? I think the hollow areas probably didn’t show because of the lighting. I’ll attach more camera photos below>Before<Right-side photo before surgery. The sagging was worse on the right side of my face>Before<The left side of my face had more severe cheek hollowing.. Overall, it felt like the skin and tissue were sagging too>Before<This is an unedited face photo taken as a selfie; in the photo, the left side looks more saggy and the right side had more severe cheek hollowing The jowls were bad on both sides..>After<This is a photo taken at the clinic 2 weeks after surgery. Can you see that the cheek hollowing and jowls are completely gone? This was when I still had a lot of swelling>After<This is the right-side photo after surgery; you can definitely see the sagging has all been lifted. Can you see that the excess tissue is gone too?>After<This is the left side of my face 2 weeks after surgery; the purple line on the side is something I colored in and couldn’t erase lol. It was hard to wash my face properly.. I’ll attach the incision line below!>After<This is an unedited selfie taken after surgery. Compared with the front-facing selfie above, there’s a big difference, right!? In real life, my jawline feels like it has been pulled up tightly and attached in place, so I’m extremely satisfied>After<This is an unedited front-facing selfie taken at one month after surgery. The face shape I used to always pull up tightly with my hands before surgery has now become my face shape even when I’m doing nothing Everyone said I look so much younger!>After<This is one month after surgery. I’m especially satisfied with the side profile.. The jowls and double chin that wouldn’t go away even with dieting.. even when I got down to 48 or 49 kg at 171 cm, they didn’t go away, but now they’re gone, so I’m so satisfied! Even if I went back, I think I’d definitely do it again>After getting facial contouring in my early 20s: cheekbone reduction, square jaw reduction, and T-osteotomy, it held up reasonably well until my mid-20s, but once I entered my mid-to-late 20s, it started sagging rapidly. When Shurink first came out, I started with Shurink, then Ultherapy, InMode, and I think I’ve had them more than 10 times in total.

During that process, I developed cheek hollowing as a side effect of the procedures.. and the jowls and double chin I wanted to disappear stayed the same.

I also had thread lifting almost at a surgical level two or three times, and whether it was those lifting laser procedures or thread lifting, I did see an immediate effect only at the time I received them... but after about 2 weeks, I could gradually see everything drooping down again... Thinking about it now, back then I really didn’t want to have surgery, and I was thinking, “I’m still young, in my late 20s, already a facelift..?” so I tried hard to deny reality, tried dieting, tried thread lifting one more time.. but instead of spending time suffering from thread-lift swelling, I should have just gotten a facelift sooner

I really want to stop my past self... ha... my money and time.. when I think about going around clinics while enduring false hope? With the money I already spent on thread lifting and lasers, I probably could have gotten two facelifts... sigh.. so annoying During the facelift, because of the thread-lift residue? foreign thread material, the director actually said it made the surgery harder, and even though he tried to remove as much as possible, it was tangled with nerves? so if he tried to remove it unnecessarily, a problem could occur. He removed as much as possible, but the threads in areas where nerve damage seemed possible were just left in place, he said...

My skin and soft tissue are on the thicker side, so maybe thread lifting was even less effective for me.. But if I could turn back time, I think I would just get the facelift. Especially because I had facial contouring too It’s been about a month and a half now, and I’m very satisfied! The swelling is also gradually going down as time passes..

It’s a full-face lift, and the incision lines are in front of and behind the ears and inside the hairline! Before the stitches were removed, it looked like Frankenstein and was pretty gross lol Now it’s just like a red line drawn there! If I pat on foundation, it’s hard to see haha Behind the ears, the scars are a bit visible~ Right now I cover them with my hair when I go out~~

I didn’t think a mini lift or partial lift would be enough, so I just had them pull it up firmly. I recommend it~ It feels so relieving!

One slightly uncomfortable thing is that scar tissue? around the cheekbones and temples is a little hard and clumped, so I rented a home-use radiofrequency device separately and have been loosening up the face area.. After using the RF device, the swelling definitely seems to go down a bit and the hardness seems to soften too!

They say scars and scar tissue? hardness, and the feeling of the face being a bit tight last about 6 months, but that’s not something that bothers me much, and I cover it with my hair when I go out...! If scars bother you a lot, it would be good to get a thorough consultation and think it over carefully..!
