Review 2 years after two-jaw surgery (done at a university hospital)
1. After 6 months passed, most of the sensation came back, but my lower gums still feel numb and tingling, like I got an anesthetic injection in my gums yesterday 2. There is also slight nasal widening, which the resident had told me about before surgery (it stresses me out, so I’m planning to have surgery for it) 3. I can’t definitively say it’s sagging skin, but when I touch under my chin, it feels like there is flesh there that shouldn’t be there.. It feels like the fat under my chin is kind of floating.. It’s hard to explain, but what’s certain is that if I gain more weight, or as I get older and my elasticity drops, it’s 100% going to become a double chin..

Conclusion: For a few years after facial contouring, you may be able to live the life of someone insanely gorgeous, but after that, there are no guarantees
