I had orthodontic treatment when I was young, but my protrusive mouth wasn’t severe, so I had it for a little over a year. I didn’t have extractions, and it ended really quickly.. First of all, my teeth are straight, but I don’t think there’s a dramatic change in mouth shape if you don’t have extractions.. That’s how it was in my experience, and among my friends too, when I look at the ones who didn’t have extractions.. When you have extractions, the lips seem to change slightly into a wavy shape too, but for me, absolutely nope hahaha. If I were to do it again, I’d want orthodontic treatment with extractions
