Before-before (long post warning)_
It’s been about 3 months since I had my silicone implant removed, and I think I understand why reviews are so hard to find..
Before removing the nasal silicone, I searched soooo much, spending all day on cafes and apps just looking for new posts, but once I actually had it done, I stopped coming in much; So I guess that’s why people barely write reviews after surgery.. ha
Still, just in case it helps someone not struggle like I did.. even though it’s a hassle, I’m going to drop a review about nasal silicone removal.. hehe
Before surgery, it had been about 7 years since my nose surgery, and because the silicone itself had been placed high, as the years went by, the see-through appearance when looking from the side of my nasal bridge got worse. I didn’t have severe contracture, but over time it gradually felt like my nose was becoming more upturned, so from then on I felt something was off.
So I was extremely stressed, and as time passed, a natural-looking nose just looked prettier to me, so I debated whether to remove the silicone and scheduled it for this winter :) At the time, I had my surgery at a hospital running an event, and really, you get what you pay for..
After they removed it at the hospital, I found out it was much higher than the millimeters I had discussed when I had surgery, and even the type of silicone was different.. seriouslyㅠ
Before surgery, I was looking for places famous for revision surgery or removal and found this place. During the consultation, they told me about a similar review, and that’s when I decided for sure. After removal, they fill the area where the silicone was with stem-cell fat grafting, and when I consulted with the director, it was exactly the direction I wanted, so I scheduled the surgery date right away and had the removal surgeryㅠㅠ
Anyway, after removal, it settled well in the direction I wanted, so I’m satisfied, and it feels more natural than when I had my previous nose implant. After getting it done, the swelling and small bruises were definitely less than after my first surgery, and after surgery I felt kind of light and relieved.
People around me also said the removal was done really well, and if you’re worrying about nasal silicone removal like I was, don’t hesitate and really just start with consultations ㄱㄱㄱㄱ
During consultations, the costs were all pretty similar, and they were definitely much more expensive than the price ranges I saw on cafes and apps. Maybe because it’s revision surgery. Maybe because prices have gone up..? (-- It’s just expensive...
For now I’m very satisfied, and when I had my original surgery, I just had it done cheaply at a factory-style place, but the place where I had the removal surgery was a private clinic, so maybe that’s why the care was good too.
When I went to factory-style hospitals, it was really hard to see the directors who did the surgery, maybe once out of 3 visits if at all. The good thing about a private clinic seemed to be the aftercare and things like that. Anyway, they checked everything thoroughly and carefully, so I was touchedㅎㅎ
And if I write another part I remember, after the removal surgery was over, I told them that I had been posting on an internet cafe asking for advice and that I would write a review too, and then the director who did my surgery talked with me a lot tooㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I talked so much that it could have been annoying, but^^..
It’s gotten really hot now, so everyone, be careful in the heat and I hope you have a good day
