I had malocclusion where one of my front teeth and the tooth next to it would go behind my lower teeth when I closed my mouth!! It was like that around the front teeth, and my canine teeth also protruded, so aesthetically orthodontic treatment was essential for my teeth, but my family wasn't well-off, so my parents couldn't get braces for me haha. It had been like that since I was really young, so I usually lived without paying attention to it, but whenever my self-esteem dropped, I really wanted to get orthodontic treatment ㅠ So I always lived thinking that I would get braces as soon as I got a job.
There happened to be an orthodontic dental clinic near my home with good reviews (really close, 5 minutes away). So without looking into many different clinics, as soon as I got a job and saved money, I went there and started orthodontic treatment haha.
I started last October and finished this April!! I didn't have any extractions, and it was mostly simple tooth realignment, so I think it ended quickly haha. The doctor also said the results came out well in a short period of time lol. Of course, I did struggle a bit during that period, but considering the reasonable price, short duration, and distance from home, I don't think it was much hardship. I deliberately thought metal braces were cute lol, so I chose metal, but I was actually a bit sad that they took them off so quickly...
Anyway, if anyone is thinking about orthodontic treatment, I hope you all choose a good clinic and get good results~~
