It was nice that the consultant first gave me a detailed consultation in a very comfortable atmosphere. Although this would be my first surgery, the director recommended costal cartilage because my septal cartilage is short, and considering that other hospitals recommended septal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, I think it may be because the desired height, style, or surgical style differs. They said the scar from autologous costal cartilage harvesting is much smaller than at other hospitals, so even though it would be my first surgery, I’m considering whether to try it. I wanted a straight nose, and the director recommended a straight line close to a straight-with-slight-curve style, leaning closer to natural within the glamorous-to-natural range …
