It has been over 3 months since I had functional nose surgery. Since the early stage after surgery, parts of my nose were red, which stressed me out, but these days, in the evening when I’m tired or when I go outside in the cold, my whole nose becomes really red
But the middle of my nose is slightly protruding.. A friend who had surgery said that in the early stage, swelling can happen in certain areas, so I was reassured and thought it was okay..?
Then recently it has been a bit dry, and the inside of my nose felt sore, so I applied antibiotic ointment with a cotton swab, but blood came from inside my nose
Is this the hematoma I’ve only heard about.. Can this happen after 3 months.. I got so anxious that my heart was pounding and I couldn’t sleep, so I’m posting this
If anyone has experienced this.. or knows anything about it, please leave a comment!
It would be fastest to go to the hospital or ask them right away.. but it’s a holiday break so they’re closed.. and I live on an island while the hospital is in Seoul I’m posting just in case
